Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Understand the approach to diagnostic evaluation of pediatric surgery patients
  2. Recognize a typical postoperative course and anticipate complications for pediatric surgical patients
  3. Report increased knowledge and comfort in caring for pediatric surgical patients

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn up to 2.00 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.
