Vanderbilt's Contemporary Clinical Neurology Symposium is designed primarily for practicing neurologists. Other neurology health care providers including fellows, residents, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners also benefit. Over the past 42 years, neurologists from the Southeast and Eastern seaboard attend this symposium. Participation in this conference will help neurologists learn new skills and refine current skills. Sessions will focus on the pathophysiology of behavioral disorders, stroke, and multiple sclerosis as well as evaluation and management strategies for patients with behavioral disorders, stroke, and multiple sclerosis. Additional sessions will focus MOC approaches to monitor personal knowledge and approaches to patient care.



Objectives
After participating in this CME activity, clinician participants should be able to:

  1. Describe and discuss improved evaluation and diagnosis of dementia, cognitive impairment, neuropathy, ALS, and sleep disorders.
  2. Describe and discuss evidence-based management strategies for dementia, cognitive impairment, neuropathy, ALS, and sleep disorders.
  3. Describe and discuss implications of potential federal policy changes related to the upcoming presidential campaign.
