Participants will engage in education on the relevance of the approach described in the reviewed article to anesthesia care at the VA and improving patient outcomes. A variety of topics from researchers in several disciplines from across the VU and VUMC institutions will be covered.


Objectives
After participation in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Analyze the relevance of the approach described in the reviewed article to anesthesia care at the VA
  2. Compare the new approach with current approaches
  3. Decide to implement or not implement all or part of the new approach based on the results of the comparison
