Quarterly education series on forensic nursing in the pediatric and adolescent patient population, including patients who seek treatment following a sexual assault, strangulation, or other interpersonal violence.

Grand Rounds occurs monthly. A wide variety of topics are presented by both local and guest speakers that pertain to the practice of obstetrics and gynecology.

Examples of patients, diagnoses, or treatments are reviewed for possible improvements in the methods or protocols or therapy. These cases are chosen by resident physicians or faculty and presented to the larger group. Discussion of any practice gaps ensues and more formal recommendations to change methods or protocols or therapy are made if needed.

Clinical updates on Obstetric and Gynecologic topics such as Pap management, Fetal surveillance, Gender care, hormone therapy updates, TOLAC counseling, Genetic testing options, Breast complaint management, Well woman screening guidelines, Diabetes/Hypertension in pregnancy, and other topics relevant to the APP in OBGYN.

Physicians should be able to describe a new or improved strategy that applies to the content in clinical practice or demonstrates application of the content in a simulated practice environment or educational setting.
