Gynecologic Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Pathologists) to develop best treatment strategies for patients with gynecologic cancers based upon evidence-based guidelines, such as those produced by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO).

Objective(s): 1 Utilize multidisciplinary approaches to the diagnosis and staging of patients with gynecologic cancer, including the findings from imaging, biopsy and surgery, genetic and molecular studies 2 Develop optimal treatment plans for the patients with cancer integrating surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy as needed 3 Describe evidence and/or guideline-based approaches to therapy as well as available clinical trials 4 Address the social determinants of health that affect the care of patients with gynecologic cancers

After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Utilize multidisciplinary approaches to the diagnosis and staging of patients with gynecologic cancer, including the findings from imaging, biopsy and surgery, genetic and molecular studies
  2. Develop optimal treatment plans for the patients with cancer integrating surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy as needed
  3. Describe evidence and/or guideline-based approaches to therapy as well as available clinical trials
  4. Address the social determinants of health that affect the care of patients with gynecologic cancers
