This series will be a 1-hour, monthly CME-accredited series, held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 7-8 am, focusing on multidisciplinary analysis and discussion of complex pediatric surgical and radiology cases to enhance diagnostic accuracy, timely surgical decision-making, imaging interpretation, and collaborative treatment planning for complex pediatric surgical conditions.



Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Interpret pediatric imaging studies (US, MRI, CT, fluoroscopy) in the context of surgical conditions.
  2. Select appropriate imaging modalities based on presenting symptoms and evidence-based guidelines.
  3. Integrate imaging findings into surgical planning and timing of intervention.
  4. Identify limitations and pitfalls of imaging modalities that may affect surgical decision-making.
  5. Enhance communication between surgery and radiology to optimize diagnostic workflows.
