The Vanderbilt Vascular Medicine Conference is a weekly educational series run by the Vascular Medicine Section. Topics include case discussion, journal club, and didactic sessions in the field of vascular medicine.

Objective(s): 1 1. Describe and discuss 2 a. The disease process of vascular disorders. 3 b. The indications, contraindications, complications and limitations of appropriate vascular medicine diagnostics (imaging studies and laboratory tests) 4 c. The basic pathophysiology and approach to vascular disorders. 5 2. Demonstrate the ability to take a pertinent cardiovascular history and perform a focused physical examination 6 3. Interpret the results of laboratory tests and imaging studies administered to patients with suspected vascular disorders 7 4.
