CORS for Nursing: The Vanderbilt Center for Patient and Professional Advocacy (CPPA) developed the evidence-based Co-worker Observation Reporting Systemsm (CORSsm) to: 1) promote professional accountability and self/group regulation; 2) implement system-wide surveillance for behaviors that undermine a culture of safety; and 3) promote behavioral and practice/system changes that enhance a culture of safety. This training is for nurses who will serve as CORS Messengers.


ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. After attending this event, 80% of participants who complete the evaluation, will self-report increased knowledge regarding how to deliver reports of observed unprofessional behavior.
