Neurology Grand Rounds and Challenging Case Discussion occurs weekly, on Friday morning from 8:00 to 9:00 am in the MRB III lecture hall (1220). Format rotates between presentations by visiting speakers and Vanderbilt faculty on cutting edge science and discussion of challenging cases. After participating in these sessions, neurologists can be expected to be able to: 1. Describe and discuss pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of the neurologic diseases 2. Describe and discuss differential diagnoses for neurologic symptoms and signs 3. Critically analyze the neurologic literature with special attention to the appropriate utilization of diagnostic tests, hospital admission, medications, biologicals, and medical devices
