VA Thoracic Tumor Board is a multidisciplinary tumor board intended for patient management discussion regarding the optimal care of selected complex patients with confirmed or suspected thoracic malignancy or metastatic disease. Discussions focus on optimal management and work up of patients including quality care, NCCN standards, and standard of care therapy as well as personalized cancer therapy as indicated. Offered Mondays from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.

Objective(s): 1 Review approaches to evaluation and diagnosis of patients with suspected and confirmed thoracic malignancies 1 Self report increased knowledge in multidisciplinary guidelines and recommendations for patient care measured by completing the evaluation. 2 Engage in multidisciplinary and interprofessional discussion about strategies to manage patients with suspected and confirmed thoracic malignancies 3 Recommend staging and consensus strategie(s) to manage patients with suspected and confirmed thoracic malignancies 4 Monitor the outcomes of selected patients reviewed by the thoracic cancer tumor board
