AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.50 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.50 hours)

Patient Unknowns - As of March of 2020, this has been virtual. This involves evaluation of photos and discussion by participants who are dermatologists throughout the country. We hope to return to live patients as soon as possible, pending improvement in the COVID pandemic. In the live sessions: patients, usually up to four (4) patients, will arrive around 7:00am and setup in an exam room. They will be greeted by Dermatology residents and dermatologists to review/view their 'unknown' skin issue. The residents and physicians (Vanderbilt and local Nashville dermatologists) will then proceed to the conference room to share their analysis of each patient. The physician who referred the patient will be in the audience to learn possibilities to treat the patient in hopes to resolve.

Objective(s): 1 Describe and discuss the characteristic features of the unknown lesion. 2 Describe and discuss strategies for evaluating the lesion. 3 Describe and discuss approaches to managing the lesion. 4 Recommend approaches for evaluating and managing the lesion.
