Pediatric Heart Institute MMI is offered monthly. Participants will engage in education on identifying and discussing disease specific, patient specific, and system specific issues surrounding morbidity or mortality in Pediatric Cardiac patients both surgical and non-surgical and improving patient outcomes. A variety of topics from researchers in several disciplines from across the VU and VUMC institutions will be covered.

Objective(s): 1 Identify and discuss disease specific, patient specific, and system specific issues surrounding morbidity or mortality in Pediatric Cardiac patients both surgical and non-surgical 2 Identify potential therapeutic approaches for post-operative cardiac morbidity in pediatric patients 3 Cite up to date medical literature specific to pediatric Cardiac critical care, particularly the post-operative management strategies
