Day long CME/CNE event with detailed lectures, panel discussions, audience participation and Q&A focused on the new and the old in allergy. We will highlight several myths that have continued despite AAP guideline changes.


ACCME Objectives
  1. the basics of oral immunotherapy for foods
  2. current knowledge of atopic skin disease and its relationship with diet including breast feeding
  3. cutting edge guidelines in regards to drug allergies
  4. basics of asthma and what is and is not a known trigger
  5. allergic rhinitis and its triggers (and what is not)
  6. risk of atopic development and further understanding of prevention

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. After participating in this event, learners will have an up-to-date understanding of new trends in allergy along with a reduction in erroneous past knowledge/beliefs.
