The Preceptor Treasures program focuses on excavating the hidden talents of experienced nurses through workshops and support. VUMC professionals who are interested in becoming a preceptor, or refreshing mentoring skills, can participate in the Preceptor Program, which has a variety of options throughout the year.

PRECEPTOR WORKSHOP LIVE CLASS focuses on Interaction & application of preceptor skills including the following: factors influencing learning, communication, critical thinking/clinical reasoning & problem-solving, time management & prioritization.



ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Participants will self-report an increase in knowldge related to preceptor tools and resources to create a learning environment to foster professional and personal growth.
