Cases of patients who have been diagnosed with malignant hematologic tumors are reviewed in this tumor board to ensure that a care plan has been developed appropriate to the patient's wishes and condition as well as the complexity of the tumor.

January 1, 2020 - November 30, 2020 only:

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.00 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. 

Objectives
After participating in this CME activity, participants should be able to describe and discuss:

  1. Current clinical features, molecular biology and emerging therapies in managing patients diagnosed with amyloidosis.
  2. Recent advances in the basic sciences relevant to amyloidosis
  3. Recent advances in laboratory evaluation that have facilitated improved management of patients' amyloidosis


Vanderbilt University Medical Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
