AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.00 hours), ANCC - American Nurses Credentialing Center (1.00 hours), ABIM MOC Part 2 (1.00 hours)

Ambulatory monitoring of patients with heart failure is undergoing paradigm shift. Several new devices and technologies are available and tested to improve outcomes of heart failure patients using ambulatory monitoring. In this series, we aim to discuss the principles of appropriate patient selection and ambulatory management of heart failure patients using implantable devices. In addition, the session will also focus on developing program building skills, including appropriate and efficient utilization of administrative resources. We expect the staff (physicians, trainees, nurse practitioners, nurses and administrative) to improve their proficiency with these recurring educational sessions.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Understand hemodynamic principles of heart failure management
  2. Discuss Hemodynamics guided heart failure management in the ambulatory setting
  3. Discuss Program development

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Understanding hemodynamic principles of heart failure management
  2. Hemodynamics guided heart failure management in the ambulatory setting
