The Pancreas Tumor Board is designed to provide opportunities for gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists and other health professionals and trainees engaged in the care of patients with pancreatic diseases to review upcoming cases in the context of patient data, available clinical practice guidelines, and recent findings from clinical research studies to determine and recommend best possible approaches to evaluating, diagnosing, and managing these patients. After participating in this CME activity, clinicians should be able to describe and discuss criteria for using endoscopy, describe and discuss criteria for using endoscopy, pharmaceutical management, radiation therapy, or surgical intervention in patients with complicated pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis with cysts, and pancreatic cystic tumors. 


Objectives

After participating in this CME activity, participants should be able to describe and discuss:


  1. Criteria for using endoscopy, pharmaceutical management, radiation therapy, or surgical intervention in patients with:
  2. 1. Complicated pancreatitis
  3. 2. Chronic pancreatitis with cysts
  4. 3. Pancreatic cystic tumors
