The Department of Emergency Medicine Morbidity, Mortality, and Improvement Conference offers a safe space for faculty, residents, nursing, and other providers to openly discuss quality improvement, medical errors, medico legal issues, and offer ideas for practice and process improvement that will lead to improved patient care.


Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Discuss the six domains of quality care
  2. identify system issue errors and cognitive bias errors that contribute to poor patient outcomes
