This two-hour course will be offered several times during 2022 based on requests at various pediatric clinics. Presentations by Vanderbilt faculty focus the latest research and discussion of challenging cases of emergent conditions which may present at their offices; how to recognize and assess these cases, and when to transfer to hospital emergency departments. After participating in this CME activity, participants will have increased knowledge regarding approaches to preparing, evaluating, and managing pediatric patients with emergent conditions that present at pediatric clinics and determining when to transfer them to higher level facility.

After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. After attending this event, 80% of participants will self-report increased knowledge regarding approaches to preparing, evaluating, and managing pediatric patients with emergent conditions that present at pediatric clinics and determining when to transfer them to higher level facility.
