Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation MMI is offered quarterly. Participants will engage in education on potential solutions for process errors that may include medical knowledge and skills and improving patient outcomes. A variety of topics from researchers in several disciplines from across the VU and VUMC institutions will be covered.


Objectives
After participation in this educational activity, you should be able to describe and discuss:

  1. how to improve inpatient rehabilitation care through understanding processes of care
  2. how to evaluate patient care using the fishbone diagram
  3. potential solutions for process errors that may include medical knowledge and skills
