The faculty, residents and fellows on the breast surgical pathology service meet 2X/week at a multiheaded microscope for 1 hour per session to reach a consensus diagnosis for challenging cases and share recent cases with salient teaching points such as rare entities, borderline lesions, difficult diagnoses and nuances of reporting. Attendees can participate by zoom as well as in person. This conference is a high yield learning activity for all participants.


Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Describe breast surgical pathology cases among the breast service attending faculty, residents and fellows in order to reach diagnostic consensus
  2. Understand rare entities
  3. Describe complex diagnoses to educate each other
  4. Educate residents and fellow on diagnostic criteria, differential diagnoses and clinical implications of diagnoses
