MSK Center Lecture Series is provided to core and affiliate faculty of the VUMC MSK Center and their trainees. Several yearly lectures are given by visiting researchers in on topics related to musculoskeletal care and research such as: chronic pain mechanisms and management, rehabilitation, opioid use, functional mobility and health disparities as they relate to biopsychosocial factors, disability, time to recovery and quality of life. The Vanderbilt Center for Musculoskeletal research has created this lecture series to inspire discussion, facilitate shared knowledge of new tools, methods and topics, and increase collaborations between institutions. The Center leverages its connections with other basic, translational and clinical researchers nationwide, bringing top researchers in the field of MSK research to Vanderbilt to support the continued education and training of our team.
