Having completed this knowledge-based session, the participant will be able to:   

1. Classify data based on type and determine best measure of central tendence  
2. Define types of error and the null and alternative hypothesis  
3. Given a study, determine what statistical test would be most appropriate  
4. Discuss regression and correlation and factors that influence which test to use 

 

This is a home study program consisting of a video recording of a live presentation and handout available on Learning Exchange.  By watching the video and completing the course evaluation and four assessment questions at the end of the program, participants can earn 1 hour of CE credit (0.1 CEU).  A score of 70% or greater on the assessment is required to receive credit. 

 

 

 

The Vanderbilt Medical Center Department of Pharmaceutical Services is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
