Neonatology Core Curriculum Conference is offered weekly. Participants will engage in education on the physiology and pathophysiology of various organ systems in the fetus and newborn and improving patient outcomes. A variety of topics from researchers in several disciplines from across the VU and VUMC institutions will be covered.


Objectives
After participation in this educational activity, you should be able to describe and discuss:

  1. The physiology and pathophysiology of various organ systems in the fetus and newborn
  2. The normal and abnormal development of organ systems in the fetus and newborn
  3. Strategies for applying physiologic principles to neonatal clinical care
