Online course providing training of recent NAS data trends, the complex issues surrounding NAS including issues beyond the hospital walls, and how best to partner prenatally and after discharge to improve outcomes.


Objectives
After participating in this CME activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe and discuss Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) data trends in Tennessee and the US and why the data are not that clear.
  2. Describe and discuss the complex issues surrounding NAS and those issues extent beyond hospital walls.
  3. Describe and discuss how to best identify partners prenatally and after discharge to improve health outcomes.
