This case-based meeting and fellows and faculty occurs every Friday (except the 4th Friday of the month) in the ASAP Conference Room from 12:15 to 1:15 pm. Strategies to implement relevant findings from research studies into practice will be discussed.

Objectives
After completing this educational activity, participants should be able to describe and discuss strategies for:

  1. 1. Identifying and using specific items in the history and physical exam to evaluate a patient with a suspected allergic or immunologic disorder.
  2. 2. Synthesizing laboratory and other ancillary data (CXR, CT scans, skin testing) with data from the history and physical to generate a differential diagnosis.
  3. 3. Determining which of the diagnoses in the differential is most likely.
  4. 4. Developing a plan to manage the patient’s diagnosis.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
