A variety of topics from researchers in several disciplines from across the VU and VUMC institutions will be covered.


Objectives
At the end of this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Describe and discuss individual, practice, and system factors contributing to medical errors, complications, and sub-optimal outcomes
  2. Review current practice to identify opportunities for improvement based on individual, practice, and system factors
  3. Implement strategies to address opportunities for improvement aimed at reducing medical errors, complications, and sub-optimal outcomes
