A course focusing on comprehensive care for patients with IBD. The biannual “Psychosocial Care and Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Care for Inflammatory Bowel Disease” conference will provide a platform to help community physicians, physician extenders, and primary care physicians from our region further their understanding of this multidisciplinary approach.


ACCME Objectives
  1. Describe and discuss the impact of psychosocial factors in IBD
  2. Describe and discuss factors behind medication adherence
  3. Describe and discuss the benefits of multidisciplinary approach to the care of a patient with IBD

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. After attending this event, 80% of participants will self-report increased knowledge related to the psychosocial needs of patients with IBD as demonstrated by course evaluation results.
