The Breast Tumor Board is offered every Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 pm in the 1st floor conference room at One Hundred Oaks. Each session provides opportunities for attendings, fellows, and residents to examine recent cases and discuss application of new knowledge and/or discuss opportunities for improvement. After participating in this CME activity, participants should be able to describe and discuss AJCC staging criteria for breast carcinoma, gain expertise in application and interpretation of new imaging modalities for breast carcinoma, identify common pathologic variants of breast carcinoma, gain experience in multi-modality treatment for breast carcinoma, describe and discuss evidence-based breast cancer literature, and devise the best treatment plan for each patient presented.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. describe and discuss AJCC staging criteria for breast carcinoma
  2. gain expertise in application and interpretation of new imaging modalities for breast carcinoma
  3. identify common pathologic variants of breast carcinoma
  4. gain experience in multi-modality treatment for breast carcinoma
  5. describe and discuss evidence-based breast cancer literature
  6. devise the best treatment plan for each patient presented
