Participants will engage in education to critically appraise and critique recent publications in obstetric anesthesia and improving patient outcomes. A variety of topics from researchers in several disciplines from across the VU and VUMC institutions will be covered.

This conference will review data on the most complex pediatric genetic cases at MCJCHV and will be reviewed by cardiology, CT surgery, Genetics, ethics, critical care providers, ENT, Pulmonology, General Surgery, anesthesia, and palliative care teams. The content will focus on establishing a standardized approach in the management of children with genetic diagnoses without clear standards of practice. Plan for comparing/contrasting any relevant diagnostic data.

This meeting is meant to serve as an internal review committee managing safety issues in the perioperative arena.
