This journal club will present articles from the medical literature that concern prevention and management of orthopedic infections. Trainees from both Infectious Diseases and Orthopedic Surgery will alternate the responsibility of finding articles of interest to both groups and presenting their findings for discussion.

A variety of topics from researchers in several disciplines from across the VU and VUMC institutions will be covered.

This conference will review data on the most complex pediatric genetic cases at MCJCHV and will be reviewed by cardiology, CT surgery, Genetics, ethics, critical care providers, ENT, Pulmonology, General Surgery, anesthesia, and palliative care teams. The content will focus on establishing a standardized approach in the management of children with genetic diagnoses without clear standards of practice. Pre-recorded PowerPoint-based education hosted by live specialists for questions/conversation.
