Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network is offering a Project ECHO for VIP MidSouth Pediatricians on Pediatric Behavioral Health. Virtual 60 minute sessions will be held every week for a maximum of 8 sessions. Each session will consist of a didactic portion, case presentation, discussion and recommendations. This will be available to VIP MidSouth participating physicians and mid-level clinicians.


Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Identify patients with symptoms of depression who may benefit from intervention or supports
  2. Develop an individualized treatment plan to address psychosocial concerns
  3. Provide medication management for mild to moderate illness with increased self-efficacy
  4. Collaborate with caregivers, therapists, and other community partners as needed to coordinate care


Vanderbilt University Medical Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center designates this live activity for a maximum 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn up to 1.00 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.00 Medical Knowledge (Part II) MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to receive CME or MOC II credit for this activity, the evaluation component must be completed. To receive MOC II credit, the evaluation must be completed no later than November 30th. Any evaluations completed after this date will award CME credit only. Evaluations can be found in your CloudCME portal under the Evaluations & Certificates tab. 

 PLEASE NOTE: This course does not award MOC II credit for the month of December. MOC credit can only be reported within the same year the credit was earned.
