Vanderbilt's Contemporary Clinical Neurology Symposium is designed primarily for practicing neurologists. Other neurology health care providers including fellows, residents, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners also benefit. Over the past 48 years, neurologists from the Southeast and Eastern seaboard attend this symposium. Participation in this conference will help neurologists learn new skills and refine current skills. Sessions will focus on the pathophysiology and treatment of movement disorders, sleep disorders, neuromuscular disorders, neuroimmunologic disorders, cognitive disorders and healthcare policy. Additional sessions will focus MOC approaches to monitor personal knowledge and approaches to patient care.


Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Understand evaluation and diagnosis of neuroimmunologic disorders, sleep disorders, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, and neuromuscular disorders.
  2. Describe evidence-based management strategies for neuroimmunologic disorders, sleep disorders, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, and neuromuscular disorders.
  3. Understand implications of potential federal policy changes related to recently passed legislation.
