Psychiatry Grand Rounds is offered weekly on Friday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm in Luton Lecture Hall, Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital (VPH), room 1206. Format rotates between presentations by visiting speakers and Vanderbilt faculty on cutting edge science and discussion of challenging cases. After participating in this CME activity, participants should be able to describe and discuss uidelines, accepted best practice and evidence from recent research related to psychopathology, diagnosis, improving treatment selections, and educating patients about psychiatric illnesses, strategies for implementing new approaches or revising current approaches to managing patients with psychiatric disorders that result in a balanced approach to pathophysiologic, diagnostic, and treatment paradigms for patient care, and anticipated patient outcomes from revised or new management strategies.
