The Academy for Excellence in Education (AEE) Commons is an opportunity to promote collaboration among members and discuss current topics in medical education. The mission of the AEE is is to enhance the educational environment by advocating for the development of dedicated educators, by sustaining a community of educators, and by fostering educational excellence, innovation, leadership, and scholarship. The Commons supports this mission by engaging members in a current topic in medical education and promoting discussion around the application of the guidelines and evidence to current teaching practices.


Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Discuss innovations and topics of interest to the medical education community and the impact at the local, regional, national, and international level.
  2. Build community among medical educators at VUSM/VUMC.
