At this meeting, faculty, physicians, clinicians, and study staff from the Vanderbilt's Alzheimer's Disease Research Center will meet to discuss neuropsychological and clinical interview evaluations, neuroimaging findings, medication usage, and neurological and psychiatric (i.e., depression) outcomes to determine cognitive diagnosis and research participation eligibility for research participants from the Tennessee Alzheimer's Project.


Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Understand/phenotype research participants for Alzheimer's disease research
  2. Understand the basics of neuropsychological tests used to diagnose Alzheimer's disease and related dementias
  3. Describe the basics of imaging used to diagnose Alzheimer's disease and related dementias
  4. Discuss the basics of pathologic tests used to diagnose Alzheimer's disease and related dementias
