This course provides lectures and live panel discussions about endoscopic techniques to the middle ear, as well as state-of-the-art endoscopic otologic evaluation, diagnosis and surgical management of middle ear pathology.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, you should be able to describe and discuss:

  1. Basic and applied anatomy of the temporal bone.
  2. Evidence-based approaches to otologic evaluation and diagnosis, including use of the endoscope and microscope.
  3. Evidence-based approaches to surgical management of ear disease, chronic ear disease, and ventilation pathways.
  4. How to use new evidence-based surgical techniques demonstrated in the dissection laboratory in your practice.
